Caitlin Bagnoli

Dr. Caitlin Bagnoli

Dr. Caitlin Bagnoli grew up spending many weekends and summers on her family’s beef and sheep farms in Highland County, Virginia. Through that, she knew early on that she wanted to be a veterinarian.

She is a double Hokie, earning both her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (2018) and DVM degree (2022) from Virginia Tech.

Dr. Bagnoli is passionate about partnering with her clients to provide the best care possible for their pets. She enjoys educating clients about preventive health such as heartworm/flea/tick prevention and at-home oral care for pets.

As a companion animal practitioner, she is a member of the following organizations:

  • American Veterinary Medical Association
  • Virginia Veterinary Medical Association
  • Roanoke Valley Veterinary Medical Association

Through the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association’s Mentor Program, Dr. Bagnoli participates as a Mentor to current Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine students. She enjoys using her recent experiences as a veterinary student to encourage current students on their journeys through the curriculum.

Dr. Bagnoli lives in Christiansburg with her husband, Michael, who is a medical student at VCOM-Virginia (Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine). She frequently helps on the family farms in Highland County. She is also a Youth Leader at Northstar Church in Blacksburg. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting or crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
