Veterinary Services

• Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We maintain excellent relationships with multiple advanced specialty referral institutions enabling access to the most advanced surgical procedures.
• Anesthesia: We use the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using pulse-oximetery and electrocardiography, the patient’s vital signs are monitored prior to and during all anesthetic procedures. Each surgical team is composed of, at a minimum, the attending veterinarian, a licensed veterinary technician, and a veterinary assistant.
• Radiology Services: Our on-site, whole-body and dental X-ray equipment provide high quality radiographs which aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.
• Endoscopy: Fiber optic endoscopy allows retrieval of many foreign bodies and diagnostic gastric and duodenal biopsy capabilities without the need for invasive exploratory surgery. Recovery periods are dramatically shortened and patient comfort is greatly enhanced.
• Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with regional cardiology specialists.
• Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of veterinary pharmaceuticals, heartworm preventatives, therapeutic shampoos and nutritional aides to meet the treatment needs of your pet.
• Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory equipment provide for immediate serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for routine and specialized serologic testing. To assure next day results for elective lab work,  blood must be drawn by 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
• Ultrasound:Abdominal, thoracic and echocardiographic ultrasound imaging can be performed in-house or performed through referral specialty consultants. Our equipment utilizes color flow, pulse and continuous wave doppler to enhance diagnostic imaging.
• Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental radiographs, tooth extractions, periodontal treatments and oral reconstructive surgery.
• Health Certificates: We can provide certificates for domestic and international travel.  We have APHIS accredited veterinarians.
• Individualized Flea/Parasite Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
• Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
